ALCATech presented a prototype of the newly developed system called "DigiScratch" at the Prolight+Sound and the SIB 2002.

DigiScratch is the bridge between Vinyl and digital audio: 
No dragging of heavy record cases anymore, no wearing or breaking of records! With DigiScratch the DJ has all creative possibilities as seeking, pitching, cueing,spinning and scratching with the turntables. But the records remain at home. The DigiScratch system consists of two Vinyl records and an INTERFACE. The PC does not need to be operated during mixing. Only for selecting the titles to be played the PC is needed. But DigiScratch offers far more! In co-operation with the professional functions of the BPM Studio Software the DJ can unfold all its creative potential completely. Also the connection of a ALCATech remote control is possible. In the near future more and more  digitized titles will be available by download on demand over the Internet and by the record companies. Therefore DigiScratch from ALCATech an investment into the future of digital DJing.

Due to the immense interest in DigiScratch at the two leading music fairs 2002, ALCATech decided to introducte the system on the market exspectable at the end of the year 2002.
